I have a netspend prepaid debit card and I am buying a car with it. The dealership doesnt accept credit cards, so now I need to come up with $2000 cash in 1 day, but the atm would only let me take out $800, is there any other way to get the money off the card? What is the easiest way to do this? I really dont want to have to wait another 3 days for my car.
Darnell is right, but to a point. If you go to a bank and ask them to take the cash off the card it will be run as a credit transaction, but netspend will see it is a cash advance. An additional fee will be assessed to your account. But if you are okay with that, then yes, do what Darnell said go to any local bank, tell them you would like a cash advance on the card and they will take care of it.

Is $800 all you can take out on the card period, or is that your daily limit to withdraw from the card? If so, you may have to wait the 3 days and take out your limit each day.

Hey my friend with the Netspend card, just go into any bank and tell them you want to take cash off the card. They will run it as a transaction, but also charge you a possible hefty fee. Just call a few banks.

if you go to a ace check cashers they will take money off your card for you for free i believe upto 4000 a day

Ask around. Different banks and institutions will handle this differently. To rush you that amount of money will probably cost you a lot in fees though. If you are so tight on money that you are looking at a $2000 car, you probably need every buck you can get. 3 days will not kill you if you have to do things that way. Other places taking a slice of money that’s rightfully yours is wrong but to let them do it would be selfish and shortsighted on your part. Don’t let others do this to you. Be smart with your money and wait out the 3 days if there is no better alternative.
